SPICY PROSCIUTTO, PEAR & PECAN FLATBREAD WITH LITTLE DICK’S HOT SAUCE
Servings: 2 | Prep time: 5 min Cook time: 8 - 10 min
Equipment: Baking sheet, chef’s knife, parchment paper
Ingredients
- 2 store bought flatbreads (we like naan or lavash)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp / cloves of chopped / grated garlic
- 3 Tbsp Little Dick’s Ghost Pepper Pear Hot Sauce
- Pinch of dried rosemary, crushed
- ½ a medium pear, thinly sliced
- 4 slices prosciutto
- ½ cup thinly sliced taleggio cheese (or ½ Gorgonzola ½ grated mild melting cheese)
- ¼ cup chopped toasted pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400* F
- Prep ingredients - slice cheese, pears, chop garlic and pecans
- Grease a baking sheet or use parchment paper for easy cleanup
- Add flatbreads to sheet pan
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, garlic, 1 Tbsp Little Dick’s Ghost Pepper Pear Hot Sauce, & dried rosemary
- Spread or brush oil on to flatbreads
- Assemble rest of solid ingredients: cheese, prosciutto, pear, pecans
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and flatbread starts to crisp
- Remove from oven & let cool
- Drizzle with remaining hot sauce & enjoy!
